I was reminded of another thing that Kasey said by her grandpa. We were outside and Kasey's grandpa said something about the hornets and Kasey responded by saying I know they keep harassing me.
We were driving the other day and we had to take a detour because of all the construction and Kasey says oh great more destruction. Seriously that's what it feels like when they have the road torn up for weeks at a time. So, now we all call it destruction too.
I had given Kasey a tubby time, combed out her hair, which is not one of either of our favorite activities because there is so much drama every time, and she had gotten her jammies on and brushed her teeth. Then she went downstairs to Scott to report and said she had done all of those things and not even cried when we brushed her hair and asked Scott if he was impressed. Where does she come up with these words and she always uses them in the right context.
Me and the girls were up at the playground and Kasey asked me to help her on the monkey bars. I told her to try it by herself. She said mom I just need your help so I don't get injured.
Quincy picks up on everything Kasey says too. They just soak it all in. I just hope they are soaking in all the good things. I do my best!
