Me, Kasey, Quincy and my friend Wendy and her three boys drove to Albuquerque and stayed for a week. There is no way we could've come back any sooner, we needed at least a week to recover from the trip down there. There were 5 kids in the car all under 4 years of age. The trip to Albq. usually takes about 9 to 10 hours. It took us 12 hours to get there and we did better on the way back it only took us 11. It was totally worth it. We had so much fun. My Uncle Errol and Aunt Nedra were visiting too which made it even more fun.

We went to the special shapes balloon glow (the glowdeo) one night which Kasey and Quincy both totally loved. Kasey was so excited and Quincy kept going oooohhh oh oooohhh. They loved it. Me and my dad took the bus down there together and we all sat in one seat, all 4 of us. Then on Saturday we went to the mass ascension where all the balloons take flight. There were over 700 balloons. We had to get up early for that one, but the kids loved it.

We also went to the Indian cultural center and watched some Indian dances. It was really interesting. After he finished his dances he invited the audience to come up and do a friendship dance with him. Grama B, Paga, me, Kasey, Quincy and my Aunt Nedra went out and held hands with everyone and danced in a big circle. It was really fun.

I am so glad I went. I always love going home. My girls love to visit there too. The kids can just go out back and play and pick raspberries and play with Paga and Grama B. Kasey loves to get snowcones at Grama B's house. We also roasted marshmallows in the chimenea, although I think Kasey just liked eating the marshmallows plain more than anything. Kasey and Paga came up with a special trick and the big exercise ball. Kasey can be pretty daring.
Paga had quite the touch with Quincy on this trip. He got her to sleep while we were waiting in line to catch the bus home from the balloon fiesta and she rode in the back pack with Paga for a while. And at church on Sunday she went with him to priesthood and I guess she just sat on his lap the whole time and was great. What is your secret Paga? She just loved my dad and as always was full of kisses for everyone. She is such my little cuddle bug.
I always love to go home and visit. Thanks for having us mom and dad. We love you!
