Potty Training

Thankfully the potty training has gone much smoother now. This is an older picture, obviously I am way behind. But potty training was a little discouraging at first when Quincers would use her potty seat to make herself into a snowman. She would walk around and say "Look I am a snowman." and that is all the use we really got out of it. Of course I couldn't help but laugh. But now the potty training is going great and I am loving no more diapers.

The Many Faces of Quincy

this top pic is my fav, and the others make me laugh

First snow

It snowed the beginning of November and I thought, oh great, it's the beginning of the never ending snow, but it hasn't snowed since then and actually been really nice. Kasey was loving it out there, but Quincy didn't last too long.

Great Grandma's

Me and the girls went up to visit my Grandma and I put them right to work. They had fun out there raking up the leaves, but it did last only so long. We had a good time. I love my grandma so much. oh I can't forget about Cocoa, her dog, I'm not sure how much I love the dog tho.

Halloween

My little witches. Kasey wanted to dress up as a good witch and Quincy kept saying she wanted to be a mean witch, but they both turned out to be pretty nice. We had fun trunk or treating and then coming back to our neighborhood and trick or treating here. It was a beautiful night, a little rain, but not enough to stop them from getting more candy

Carving and Decorating

The girls just loved painting and carving the pumpkins and can't wait until it gets dark so that we can light the candles in our pumpkins. I love seeing them get so excited.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOH! Isn't that a spooky haunted house.
Of course Kasey keeps asking if she can eat it. I do find a few missing roof candies here and there. We had a good time making it.

Poor Quincy

Quincy fractured her little foot and had to wear a cast for a while. She got around just fine on it and it didn't seem to slow her down one bit. She was a good trooper through all the x-rays and back and forth to doctors. She doesn't have the cast on anymore and her foot seems to be slowly healing. We are hoping for a full recovery in a couple of weeks.

A bit of drama with Kasey, notice how her foot is wrapped too. She hurt her toe, like a scratch on the bottom of it or something and was hopping around on one leg. She wouldn't use her foot. I asked her if we needed to wrap it up and oh the wonders an ace bandage can do for a scratch on your foot. It was as good as new. She was running, jumping, dancing oh and of course singing and talking, but we should all know that is just a given.

oh they are just so dang cute!

Wedding

Scott's brother Rick recently got married to Merced and they asked Kasey to be a flower girl. She was really excited. When she saw her dress she said oh it's just so beautiful. Once she got it on she could not stop twirling around and posing. She loved every minute of it. Quincy had a good time too at the reception. Her and Kasey were dancing all around, despite Quincy's little foot. It was such a nice wedding and fun reception.
Congrats Rick and Merced!

2 years old

1 year
8 lbs. 4oz.

Quincy is 2. Wow how time flies. I think she had a pretty good little birthday. We took her to a playland that has rides for kids just her size and then to Coldstone's for some ice cream. She choose the cotton candy ice cream with double scoop of sprinkles mixed in. Then we came back to our house for pizza, presents, cake and ice cream. What a cutie we have!
Happy Birthday, we love you Quincy!
